INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMME 8
ABSTRACT PANORAMA
Friday 24 August 5pm
Abstract animation is a rich, challenging element
of the overall creative animation picture. In some cases these
films utilise the most elemental components of cinema –
light, colours, the simple intrigue of making a collection of
still images ‘move’. Abstract animation can sometimes
ask a lot of its audience but the rewards flow from experiencing
works that go beyond what words and narrative can create.
