Founded in 1950, the Beijing Film Academy
annually attracts more than 100,000 applicants for the 500 available
positions. The films produced by top BFA graduates often lead
with a surreal or whimsical edge and fuse a surprising range of
influences together. This programme shines a light on the output
of one of Asia’s most important and prestigious film schools.
