The UK Film Council is the Government backed lead agency for film in the UK in the UK ensuring that the economic, cultural and educational aspects of film are effectively represented at home and abroad.  We invest Government grant-in-aid and Lottery money in developing new filmmakers, in funding exciting new British films and in getting a wider choice of films to audiences throughout the UK.  We also invest in training, promoting Britain as an international filmmaking location and in raising the profile of British films abroad.

Curzon Soho was voted as London’s Number One cinema by readers of Time Out. Showing a broad-range of art-house films and situated in London’s cosmopolitan Soho district, the cinema’s three screens are equipped with Dolby THX sound, ample leg-room and excellent screen visibility. The cafe Konditor and Cook is at street-level so pop in to experience their amazingly tasty cakes praised by Nigella Lawson herself. We also have a fully licensed bar on the Mezzanine level, changing art exhibitions and a broad selection of art-house and world cinema DVDs.
